"Artemis was sitting at his window in his room. He looked out and saw the leaves swirling around in the wind with their beautiful colors. Autumn had come so fast, what happened to spring? Time is passing, as the water in the river rushes down and try to retreat to the sea. Soon, it was time for hunting. Artemis had been waiting for the hunt so long, he had finally become old enough to do it, and he could barely contain himself. His first hunt, and he would have to do it on his own. It could take hours, maybe even days. All of it, was depending on Artemis.
- Artemis, are you ready?
Artemis's mother stood at the doorway, wearing a beautiful dress. She smiled at him
- I .. I think so.
He stood up, and his mother looked at him with pride in her eyes. He was wearing a unique hunting suit which apparently had belonged to his father once, someone he knew nothing about.
- You have grown so much my son, you are very handsome.
- Thank you mother. You look incredibly beautiful.
- Thank you mother. You look incredibly beautiful.
Artemis followed his mother out of the manor's major gates out to the small trail at the edge of the forest. It was time. Artemis looked at his mother while she pulled out something that was wrapped in cloth. It looked like some kind of weapon.
- My son, I want you to have this.
Artemis wrapped up what was inside the coarse fabric. It was a bow. And what a magnificent bow it was. Artemis had never seen anything like it. Its "body" was made out of what looked like green wood. With a strong handle in gold with a silver pattern.
- Mother it is, it is incredible!
- I'm glad you like it. It is forged out of a Fara'h Don tree. One of the strongest and rarest woods. The string comes from the hair of a Anroth giant, and almost never wears out. And even if it did, then all that is needed is a bit of pure spring water.

Artemis stood as if petrified. He could hardly believe either his eyes or ears. The bow he had just received was magnificent. Now he really was ready for the hunt.
- My son, remember, that this hunt will help to strengthen your senses. You may not use your demon powers. You will get along just fine, I know you will.
At a distance from the gate stood Artemis' older brother Eldritch with his friend Awran and watched as Artemis and his mother went through the final details before the hunt.
- Why is your mother doing this? Why does she embarrass her own son by letting him go out on a hunt that is completely unnecessary? said Awran with a negative vote.
- Hmm .. My mother believes that this hunt will strengthen Artemis' senses by not even letting him use them. She believes that his demon genes will develop themselves. That woman has always been, special.
- Do you think it's going to work?
- Hah, work? No. I do not understand why she treats him like a little kid. But I will not prevent her from doing this, let him go out hunting. We may finally get some peace and quiet around here. Come on, let's go.
The two men left the area. Artemis had detected them and watched the spot where they had been standing. He stared down at the ground, was he ashamed?
- Artemis? What is it?
- My brother seems to think that I'm silly for doing this.

His mother laid her hand against Artemis's cheek. He looked at her.
- And what do you think about all this?
- I want to do this. I don't care what others think! I trust you, mother, and if you say that this will strengthen me, then I trust that it will. Because I love you mother, and your opinion of me, matters more than what everyone else thinks.

He hugged his mother, she wished him good luck, and then he left."
